Jared Angle, Pontus Lidberg, Susan Marshall & Company and Sara du Jour
For April, Dance Under the Influence brings together the charismatic NYCB principal Jared Angle, who mixes classical tradition with a contemporary sensibility; Swedish choreographer Pontus Lidberg, a master of blending film, music and dance; Susan Marshall & Company, known for their intriguing dances about human relationships that explore intimacy and community; and Sara du Jour, the drag twosome Jordan Isadore and T.J. Spaur, who hilariously discover humor in everything, showing the influence of both Martha Graham and the eccentric Israeli choreographer, Ohad Naharin.
